Thief Common Skills
Enchant Venom (Claw, Dagger)
Description: You can passively attack the enemy with poison up to three times, but the enemy's HP will not fall below 1.

Showdown
Description: By provoking the enemy, you increase its physical defense, experience value, and drop ratio by a fixed percentage for a set duration.

Ambush
Description: A hidden band of thieves strikes suddenly for a fixed duration. The HP of the enemies affected cannot fall below 1. [Effective for up to 6 enemies]

Soul Javelin

Assasinate
Description: After coming in close under Dark-Sight, assasinate the enemy by a surprise attack: damaging the vital points of the monster 3 times continuously. The final attack, which comes out in a given probability, has a certain chance of giving death wound. Longer Dark-Sight will make the damage bigger.

Thief Quest Information
Common


Ambush:

Talk to the 4th job instructor to begin the quest
Head to Kerning and talk to your 2nd job instructor
Keep talking to him. he'll give you a quest to defeat 6 ninjas
Talk to him once again to enter an arena. Defeat the 6 ninjas in the arena before the 20 minute timer runs out. If you die or don't defeat all 6 ninjas, you must restart the quest.
Once you finish, head out of the arena.
Talk to the 2nd instructor to finish and receive your skillbook

Night Lord
Triple Throw:
This skillbook is obtained from Zakum. No quest is necessary to do this.

Ninja Storm:

Find "The Sealed Letter" storybook from Dual Ghost Pirates.
Now travel to Ludi and talk the npc #1
Npc #1 will refer you to Orbis and talk to Npc #2 ( this npc should be near the guild making place )
After your done, travel back to Npc#1
The npc#1 then asks you to hunt for 3 items: Griffey Wind (Griffey), Thanatos Black Tornado (Thanatos), Boogie's Cursed Whirlwind (Zakum).
Once you collect all the required items, travel to Leafre
Talk to your 4th job instructor to finish.

NPC #1: At Ludi, go to Terrace Hall (Toy Factory) and move all the way to your left until you reach Cloud Terrace 5. There is a hidden porter slightly to your left, enter it and you will find this NPC named Unknown Thief. Talk to him and he will ask you to get the Maple Marble from NPC #2.

NPC #2: Now go to Orbis where the Guild Headquarter is. Just outside the main building, there are 3 steps, teleport all the way to the top. You will see a Maple Leaf (yes, that's the NPC #2!). Click on it to get the Maple Marble and return to NPC #1 to complete the quest. Reward: 800,000 EXP

Shadower
Smoke Shell:

Lucidas should drop the Smoke Screen storybook that you need to begin the quest
Once the book is found, check your quest log. A new quest should appear in there about the Mad Scientist
Travel to aqua tower and talk to Hughes to continue the quest.
Keep talking to him to receive another quest from him. He asks for the following:
A fan
a battery
100 of item X (Squid)
20 refined steel plate
50 propellors (Dual Ghost Pirates)
50 screws
50 gears (Chronos)
Another quest should appear in your quest log stating that Kay, the engineer, should appear in Omega Sector. This subquest will give you the fan you need.
Head over to Omega Sector and talk to Kay. She will ask you for the following:
100 yellow propellors (Helly)
1 steel plate
Once thats done, go back to Kay, and she will give you the fan
Stay at Omega Sector and talk to the scientist Hairy Porter in the tower. He'll ask you to get a specific drop from Papulatus. This subquest will give you the battery you need.
Travel back to Ludi and kill Papulatus until he drops a specific statue
Bring that statue back to Hairy Porter. He will give you a battery.
Finally, go back to Hughes in Orbis tower and talk to him. He will give you a computer.
Use the computer, and Smoke Bomb should be in your skill list now

Assassinate:

To begin this quest this talk to your 3rd job instructor
Head over to the Perion Excavation Site and talk to Shane
Continue to talk to him to receive another quest. He will ask you to go to an arena. Talk to him again to enter.
Once inside, there are boxes you need to hit to warp to the next level. Only 1 person may enter the arena at a time, and you have 20 minutes to finish the quest.
Give the item you found to Shane then talk to him again
Return to your 3rd job instructor to finish the quest and gain Assassinate.
